We as Reifenwerk Heidenau are a German traditional company producing diagonal tires for mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, vintage vehicles, motorsports, and more for over 70 years. In our tire manufacturing over 550 different tire models are crafted by approximately 200 skilled craftsmen.
Currently, we urgently seek new team members for the research and development department to support our team immediately:
Development engineer for bias ply tires (m/f/d)

- Development and design of molds and components for the production of tires as well as the creation of technical documents using Solidworks 3D CAD software
- Product optimization with regard to quality and properties and according to target specifications
- Development and implementation of product designs
- Participation, organization and evaluation of product tests (national/international)

- Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering / automotive engineering or a comparable field (Bachelor/Diploma/Master)
- Design experience in 3D CAD software (e.g. Solidworks)
- Experience in MS-Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel etc.)
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Structured, independent work and quick comprehension skills
- Affinity for the development of technical products
- Ability to work in a team, creativity and good organizational skills
- Possession of a class B or BE driving license

- Basic knowledge of tire construction and rubber as a material
- Driving license class A / A2 / A1
