HONORED WITH THE RED DOT DESIGN AWARD!
We couldn't be any prouder, since our K60 Ranger has been awarded by the internationally renowned Red Dot Design Award. For the first time in our company's history, we had the courage to let one of our products be thoroughly tested in an international comparison. And then this happend, wow!
In its assessment, the jury particularly highlighted the outstanding combination of on-road performance and the excellent off-road capability of the tire. The K60 Ranger shows that a tire made for off-road use can also be used safely and comfortably on the road in a way that has never been seen before. Nevertheless, the K60 Ranger is and remains first and foremost a tire for the "rough stuff". With its open and staggered tread design, the adapted side support and the special carcass construction, the tire really comes fully alive off-road and masters almost any surface.
ABOUT THE AWARD:
The Red Dot Design Award is one of the largest design competitions in the world and has established itself internationally as one of the most coveted seals of quality for exceptional design. Dating back to 1955, the award is presented in the main categories of product design, corporate communication and concepts/prototypes. The award for product design stands for marketable products with an industrial manufacturing process and is divided into 51 sub-categories due to the wide variety of submissions. The expert jury consists of approx. 50 jurors from various industries, who test, discuss and evaluate each submission individually. A total of around 7600 entries from 60 countries worldwide were submitted this year. By demonstrating the tires on site and providing extensive product information, we were able to impress the judges in the criteria of aesthetics, function and quality of use during the evaluation process, which lasted several days.
